Mission Statement:

Flex Your Faith is a group created to encourage fellowship with one another through fitness and exercise. Flex Your Faith is a forum for the group to share the Christian faith through different activities and fellowship opportunities. Our mission is to reach out to other Christian believers and non-believers alike, bridging the gap between faith and fitness.

About Us:

Flex Your Faith was created by me, Peter Tapao, and good friend Dimitri Castro. We both have years of experience in personal training and fitness, but also share an undeniable faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We had joined together in agreement to offer classes that combine both fitness and faith. We would support events like boot camps, hikes and sponsored marathons and runs. Last year we completed the Tough Mudder Run in April of 2014.

Today, many health clubs and exercise groups lead the way for people to get healthy and fit, but many of them are not centered on Christian values. We would offer a safe place were we can share and encourage one another. As an alternative to traditional gyms, we want Christians to have a place were we can be accepted and not judged, a place were we can invite other believers and non-believers to learn more about our purpose and ministry. We invite people in all walks of life and all Christian denominations. We do not consider ourselves an exclusive group, but we want to be able to teach Jesus's message and the personal relationship you can have with Him.

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

- Matthew 18 : 20
